It was like you felt what the characters was reenacting. It has a lot of drama in it and it gave the behind the scenes of the music world back in the 50’s thru 80’s. In my opinion this movie was very well put together. If the film was had followed a different presentation style it wouldn’t have grab the audience attention because it would have been confusing and not consistent nor would it have been able to be called an autobiography. As the movie unfolds it shows how they actually got their fame and success up to the death of all of the members except for Otis Williams. Reason being that it was presented chronologically is because the movie starts out when they were just young teenagers singing doo-wop at school and on the street corners. The movie was also told from the point of view of Otis Williams the leader and founder of the music group. It also shows the viewer how wealth and greed can tear up families and friendships. This movie goes into depth details on how the famous music male group “The Temptations” got started in the business. The movie starred Charles Malik Whitfield who played Otis Williams, D.B Woodside, Terron Brooks, Christian Payton, and Leon. The movies was directed by Allan Arkush, produced by Jay Benson, Otis Williams, and Shelly Berger, screenplay by Robert Johnson and Kevin Arkadie. The movie was released in the US November 1, 1998. The genre is a miniseries, distributed by Hallmark Entertainment and Lionsgate.
It is an all-time favorite of mine. It gives you the inside story and lives of the legendary Motown music group “The Temptations”.

Sound effects: heartbeat, blood running through Bella’s veinsĭialogue: none in this scene. The three basic categories of sound used in this scene was dialogue, realistic sound effects, and music. As the music climaxes you knew something great was going to happen and that’s when Bella opened her eyes. As Bella is being reborn it flashes back and forth to everything that has happened in her life as if that was what was giving her strength to live. The music and sound effects set the mood and tone of this scene. If the sound of her heartbeat was not incorporated in this scene one would be lost due to no words were spoken. The music is not that of a depressing mood but of life and growth. The sound lets the audience know that she is not dead life is flowing through her body and she is being reborn. In the background you can hear very vivid sound effects of the blood running through her veins and her heartbeat. The song playing in the background is “Heart of Courage” by Two Steps From Hell. There was no words spoken during this scene only background music and sound effects. In this clip Bella Cullen died after giving birth to her half vampire child because she was still human. It used the technique of sound called non-diegetic, which is sound heard by the viewers and not by the characters in the story world. 1 a particular scene called “The Transformation” caught my attention with the sounds, music, and visuals. “Musical accompaniment that supports a film’s moods and actions is really just an artificial convention to help manipulate audience response.”Goodykoontz, B., & Jacobs, C.
